The importance of eating right and exercising

Eating correctly and exercising will ensure that your body performs right for you.  Imagine that your body is a car and that what you eat is like putting the right type of fuel into your gas tank.  We often do not realize that when we feed our body junk, we might not perform as well as we otherwise would.  Studies point to the fact that students who eat breakfast do better in school.  Grab some fruit on the way out the door in the morning if you are in a hurry.  Drink that water.  There are minerals in water that your body cannot otherwise get.

Exercising is a tough thing to commit to, but when you are involved in it, your body realeases endorphins or feel good muscles that alleviate depression and a feeling of sluggishness.  Be good to your body and it will get you through life.  Improving your physical situation also will improve your brain and memory capacities.

Get That Body Moving

Figgeters are people who move their body even when they are sitting.  Try moving your hands and legs while watching tv.  There are little things you can do that will add up to a lot of calories being burned at the end of a year's time.  Rather than take the elevator, use the stairs.  Some of these hints are pretty obvious and only take some common sense and are actually quite simple.  Park your car further away so you get more walking in.  Find a buddy to exercise with.  Research shows that those who partner with someone have far better results than those who do not.  So get that body moving and be the best that you can be!

Care about your body and your body will care about you.  Stay away from drugs and alcohol.  Be nice to yourself!

Try a variety of sports and make physical activity one of your hobbies.  Doing so will make you feel better and you will be more alert for other daily activities.  Work your muscles.  Remember, if you don't use it you lose it.  Stay smart and stay healthy!
